About:

Having been with VALLEYLIFE, previously known as Valley of the Sun School and Habilitation Center, since he was a small child in 1972, Eldon is a true VALLEYLIFE Viper through and through. Not only is he a beloved Member of Phelps group home, but he is also an active Member of DTA 3.

Eldon is known to have an easy, go-with-the-flow attitude and can turn any occasion into a good time. Although he is nonverbal, he has found ways to communicate with those closest to him, particularly family and VALLEYLIFE staff that he’s familiar with. In addition to his blocks, Eldon particularly enjoys sensory activities and feeling the vibrations when music from a speaker is played. Staff within DTA 3 have said that Eldon is a great helper and often takes pride in helping with small chores around the DTA.

Outside of VALLEYLIFE, Eldon loves any opportunity he has to spend time with his family, especially when he gets to see his niece. Eldon has been known to have an infectious laugh and can brighten up any room he walks into.
