Linda Miller, CPA, has made a career of helping not-for-profit organizations be financially responsible. From her early days in public accounting where she specialized in auditing not-for-profit organizations for 16 years, she then went to work for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley where she spent 10 years as Director of Finance. For the past 5 years she has been the Chief Financial Officer for VALLEYLIFE. Linda has presented at both the National Not-for-Profit and Government conferences and the Arizona State University Not-for-Profit management course. She is a member of AICPA and ASCPA as well as facilitator for CFO roundtable discussions for AAPPD. When Linda is not crunching numbers she enjoys a walk on the wild side by spending time with her animals including her horse and her wolves. Linda sums up her love of finance this way: “I’ve always enjoyed a challenge and I view accounting as a puzzle. When you get all the pieces put together in the right place, a very clear picture of the organization emerges.”
