Peter C. Connolly
Peter Connolly serves as the Chairman of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors, joining the Board in 2007. Prior to joining the Board, he was a partner in a national CPA firm and a senior financial executive in an S&P 500 corporation. Peter, his wife and their two sons relocated to the Valley of the Sun in 1987.
Clifford L. Mattice
Clifford L. Mattice joined the VALLEYLIFE Board in 2010 and is a member of Dickinson Wright PLLC, a law practice which covers municipal law, land use, government entitlements, and litigation. Mr. Mattice graduated from Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix and the College of Law at Arizona State University. He and his wife, Melissa, enjoy raising their two children in north central Phoenix.
Steve McKamey has been a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors since 2010 and is the President/Designated Broker of Pro Star Realty. Mr. McKamey has held an active Real Estate Broker License since 1982. He specializes in the listing and sales of residential and commercial properties, asset management, and property management. Throughout his career Mr. McKamey has held seminars on residential sales, commercial sales and conducted large property marketing sessions. He is certified in many areas of real estate and is a member of the National Association of Realtors.
Cindy Quenneville, Executive Director at the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in 2009. Assisting with the educational, health and skills development of individuals and families has always been part of her work. In 1992, Cindy founded the Northside Employment & Training Center to develop and implement Adult Basic Education and Employability Training programs. Prior to her current position, she served as the Executive Director of Desert Mission. Cindy currently serves as the Chair and Business Member representative of the North Phoenix Council of First Things First Arizona, as a member of the Advisory Council of the Assistance League of Phoenix, and is a member of the Sunnyslope Kiwanis.
Daniel Kramer, Esq.
Daniel Kramer was elected to the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in 2014. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kramer was a sole practitioner who specialized in Personal Injury litigation. In 2003, Mr. Kramer received the Bergen County “Salute to Champions” award for his work with organizations that help handicapped people. Lawyers Weekly named Mr. Kramer one of the Top 10 Attorneys for 2004 because of his pro bono work on behalf of 9/11 victims. Along with his successful legal career, Mr. Kramer has also held positions as an adjunct professor of law, lecturer, coauthor of several books, published columnist and editor of a monthly law and strategy publication.
Heather Winters Bull
Heather Winters Bull was elected to the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in July of 2013. Ms. Winters Bull is the Principal Fiduciary and Owner of The Families Advocate, LLC. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University and has been an Arizona Supreme Court Licensed Fiduciary since 2001. Ms. Bull is also a National Certified Guardian and has dedicated her life to the service of the vulnerable community, participated on numerous legislative committees, presented educational seminars, and developed accounting and reporting programs to promote administrative transparency and efficiency in the management of client estates.
Dr. Stephen Noll
Stephen Noll has been a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors since 2009. Dr. Noll is a physician who initially specialized in Family Medicine and subsequently in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He retired from medical practice at Mayo Clinic in 2016. He and his wife moved from Minnesota to Scottsdale, AZ in 2000. They have been blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.
Katy White has been a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors since 2001.
President & Chief Executive Officer
Cletus Thiebeau started his career with VALLEYLIFE in 1996 as a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors. In 2003, he accepted the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his work at VALLEYLIFE, Cletus had a distinguished career in the commercial financial services industry working with both national and international companies.
Cletus received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance at Florida State University and a master's degree in business administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
When asked how he feels about his work at VALLEYLIFE, Cletus states, “I have the best job in the world. I get the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people every day.”
Chief Financial Officer
Linda Miller joined VALLEYLIFE as Chief Financial Officer in 2004. Prior to her work at VALLEYLIFE, Linda spent more than 25 years in the nonprofit sector helping several organizations achieve and maintain fiscal responsibility.
Linda, a Certified Public Accountant, has presented at both national and government not-for-profit conferences and at Arizona State University’s not-for-profit management program. Linda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), and is a facilitator for the Arizona Association of Providers for People with Disabilities (AAPPD) CFO roundtable discussion forums.
Regarding her love of numbers, Linda says, “I’ve always enjoyed a challenge and I view accounting as a puzzle: When you get all the pieces put together in the right place, a very clear picture of the organization emerges.”
